Q: How much does GolfTracker cost?
A: About $16 a month per piece of equipment. Think of it this way: if your cart rental fee per golfer is $16, you would only have to rent ½ of the cart one time a month to pay for the system! Not to mention the money you will save by running a more efficient golf course without the labor costs of a course ranger! For about $1 a month, you will have a “bird’s eye” view of your entire golf course and where each golf cart is, what their pace is, and where it’s been!

Q: How long will it take between order and installation?
A: Once we get you scheduled for installation, the complete turn-around time depends on whether or not your facility has been GPS mapped already. Previous GPS mapping can speed up the installation process. On average, installation is a about 4-6 weeks.

Q: How accurate are the GPS units and related data?
A: The GPS accuracy of our system averages approximately 2-5 meters.

Q: Other golf GPS units are sold for $200-$300. Why are these units more expensive?
A: The GolfTracker system is far more sophisticated than a simple GPS device that you would purchase at a sporting goods store. Specifically, our units transmit their position in real-time to our servers for analysis.

Q: Where are the units installed on the equipment?
A: Unit installation location depends on the type of golf course equipment. GolfTracker has developed and tested installation specifications for all major types of golf course equipment.

Q: How big are the units?
A: The units are approximately 1" x 6" x 4"

Q: How long is the historical data maintained?
A: The data is stored on GolfTracker GPS secured servers in the U.S.A. and Norway. 4 months of historical data will be available online 24/7 356 days of the year. All data will be permanently backed up and can be accessed for year over year comparisons upon request. Data can also be stored for anytime access on a local back up system.

Q: How secure is my data?
A: All data is stored in our in-house data warehouse, utilizing the newest IT security systems available, to prevent unauthorized access. Only yourself and people you authorize, will have access to the data. All data is backed up four times a day, and safely stored on backup servers in both USA and Europe.

Q: How is the software updated?
A: Software is updated automatically through the GolfTracker server. Updates are completely transparent to golf course managers. No hassles! Golf course managers don't have to do anything.

Q: What if I sell the equipment during the contract term?
A: GolfTracker GPS units can be transferred to any equipment that the golf course replaces.

Q: What if a unit fails during the contract term?
A: In case of a unit failure our in-house technicians will immediately receive a notice and our unit replacement procedure is initiated. Within 72 hours you will receive a fully operational replacement unit for installing on the equipment.

Q: What type of support is provided during the contract term?
A: The scope of each agreement may differ but GolfTracker GPS is committed to train your staff to utilize reports, illustrate cost savings, improve forecasting, and validate your return on the investment of the GT System. Our standard support provides online response to technical and if needed trouble shooting assistance.

Q: Will the unit interfere with any of the equipment electronics?
A: No, under normal circumstances there should not be any interference with other electronic or data transfer systems.

Q: How do I access the map and data?
A: Because our product is completely web-based, you simply log into your GolfTracker GPS website with your facility’s username and password.

Q: Is there financing available?
A: Favorable capital leasing terms are available.

Q: Do I need a specific computer to run this software?
A: No. GolfTracker GPS only requires an internet connection. You can even access your golf course wirelessly via web enabled cell phone or internet tablet!
